How to apply

Applications for our 2027 Graduate Programs open Monday, 1 June and close Wednesday, 1 July 2026 in line with the Graduate Nursing and Midwifery Program (GNMP) Post Graduate Medical Council of Victoria (PMCV) application dates.

Clinical reference requirements

Candidates are required to follow PMCV referee guidelines available on the 2026-2027 Candidate Handbook on their website.

Commencement requirements

Successful commencement in the Graduate Program is subject to:

  • Completion of a police check (Fit2Work)
  • Confirmed registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Midwife
  • Submission of a valid Employee Working with Children’s Check Card
  • Evidence of immunisations as required by Monash Health policy and procedure
  • Ability to pass a Fit Test, with an adequate seal on an N95 mask
  • Evidence of full working rights

Successful candidates who do not meet these requirements by the nominated date in the offer of employment may be withdrawn from the Graduate Program.
