Trifecta of young investigator awards in cardiology

Dr Hashrul Rashid, Monash Health cardiologist and PhD candidate at the Victorian Heart Institute/Monash Heart, has been awarded a trifecta of young investigator awards.

The three awards are the highest accolades for early career investigators in their respective fields: interventional cardiology (Australia New Zealand Endovascular Therapy Early Career Research Prize), non-invasive cardiac imaging (Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand Cardiac Imaging Prize) and adult medicine (Royal Australians College of Physicians Victorian Trainee Research Award).

“I am truly honored by these recognitions and I acknowledge the excellent support from my PhD supervisors, research team and colleagues at Monash Heart.”

Congratulations to Dr Rashid for his research ambitions and dedication to Monash Heart.
