The Easter Bunny makes a special visit to Monash Children’s Hospital

We welcomed a very special visitor today at Monash Children’s Hospital.

Children, their families, and our wonderful team members got into the Easter spirit with a visit from the Easter Bunny who hopped from room to room, ward to ward delivering delicious chocolate eggs.

Dani Smith, General Manager of Monash Children’s Hospital said it’s so nice that our patients can share in the celebration of Easter while away from home for treatment.

“It’s great that the Easter Bunny is visiting our young patients at Monash Children’s Hospital, to share some joy and excitement in their time of illness,” Dani said.

We also spoke with the Easter Bunny, who said Monash Children’s was such a special place to visit. The Easter Bunny said their favourite part of their visit was creating special memories with the children and seeing their faces light up with (chocolate-covered) smiles.

A very happy Easter to all those who celebrate.
