When a patient is grappling with a difficult diagnosis, is daunted at the prospect of upcoming surgery, or is shaken by a sudden health emergency – our non-religious spiritual care workers are there to listen and comfort. 

Their important role in healthcare was recently highlighted on SBS News. 

The broadcaster filmed spiritual care worker Anh Nguyen on her rounds at the Victorian Heart Hospital.
