Inaugural Monash Health Newborn Family Reunion Day to celebrate resilience and community
Monash Health Newborn turns 50 at the end of this year and is holding a reunion to celebrate.
To mark the team’s 50th year, an inaugural Monash Health Newborn Family Reunion Day is planned at Monash Children’s Hospital.
Held on Sunday 15 November 2026, World Prematurity Day, the event will honour the strength, courage and resilience of every baby, family and staff member who has been part of the Monash Health Newborn journey.
Families cared for in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Monash Children’s Hospital and in the Special Care Nursery at Casey and Dandenong Hospitals are all welcome.
However your story unfolded, you are part of the Monash Health Newborn family, and the team would love to see you.
‘Monash Health Newborn Family Reunion Day is a really special initiative. It reconnects families with staff and the hospital, celebrates resilience, and strengthens the community that grew from shared beginnings in Monash Health Newborn,’ said Professor Atul Malhotra, neonatologist and Head of Early Neurodevelopment Clinic at Monash Children’s Hospital.
Join us as we honour our smallest fighters and the families who inspire us every day.
Tickets are free; however, registration is essential as spaces are limited.
Please share this with a family who has spent time in Monash Health Newborn.
