Congratulations A/Prof Michael Fahey

We are proud to announce that Associate Professor Michael Fahey, Head of Paediatric Neurology at Monash Children’s Hospital, has recently completed his prestigious Fulbright scholarship.

A/Prof Fahey has spent the past three months in the United States at the University of Arizona of Medicine working alongside Dr Michael Kruer, Associate Professor of Neurology and Child Health at the College of Medicine.

The Fulbright scholarship has allowed A/Prof Fahey to collaborate with Dr Kruer to combine neuroimaging data from the Australian Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization with contemporary genomic techniques to better understand complex neurological diseases in paediatrics.

A/Prof Fahey also worked in Dr Kruer’s laboratory as well as consulting paediatric patients with genetic forms of cerebral palsy.

Congratulations again to A/Prof Fahey on this impressive achievement.
