Monash Health Sustainability Strategy

Monash Health is committed to mitigating our contributions to global warming and adapting to new environmental conditions. We know that climate impacts are already being felt, and there is great optimism about the opportunities rapid action will provide.

The Monash Health Sustainability Strategy 2022-2025 has been developed to respond to the challenges of climate change and build strong support for action and ambition.

Our Strategy outlines Monash Health’s focus areas for sustainability and how this aligns with our strategic goals as well as the Victorian Government’s strategic actions on climate change.

Our Sustainability Strategy 2022-2025 sets out our commitment and goals for six key areas, including:

  • Waste management
  • Procurement
  • Buildings and infrastructure
  • Energy efficiency and emissions
  • Transport and travel
  • Organisational culture
