Child and Family

This page contains information about the Monash Health Child and Family Program including Allied Health, Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies, and School Readiness Program, and how we support children (0-17 year of age) and their families.

What Child and Family services are offered in the community?

Monash Health provides a range of community-based services to children and their families. These services include allied health services to children (from before birth to 18 years old), and support to vulnerable, socially isolated and at-risk children and their families.

We provide care at multiple sites in the City of Greater Dandenong, City of Casey and Cardinia Shire.

Our professional, highly skilled and experienced teams specialise in working with children and their families. They act with integrity to provide services that:

  • are supportive and flexible
  • promote positive parenting and child interaction
  • enhance parent’s understanding of their child’s development
  • use comprehensive multi-disciplinary screening assessments
  • keep the child and family at the centre of what we do.
