About Us

About Us

Health librarians are tertiary qualified information professionals who support healthcare, research, education and organisational decision-making through expertise in evidence, technology, and information management.

Trained in information science, health librarians combine skills in evidence-based practice, research support, education, data management, and digital systems. Librarians also have expertise in areas such as website and database design, analytics, coding, events management, marketing and promotions, and emerging technologies.

At Monash Health Library, librarians work across clinical, research and corporate teams to improve access to trusted information, support innovation, and contribute to high-quality patient care and organisational outcomes.
