Welcome to your Nutrition and Dietetics placement at Monash Health. The Dietetic student coordinator will be your key contact for any general placement inquiries. If you have any questions, concerns or challenges then please don’t hesitate to contact your student co-ordinator, before or during placement.
Your site student coordinator will be allocated to you once you have been allocated a placement site. Your site coordinator is your key contact for anything site specific e.g. calling in unwell, starting/finishing times, pre-reading etc.
Clinical Placement Hours
Clinical placement hours will vary between sites. Start times, finishing times and breaks should be discussed with your site student educators prior to commencing your clinical placement.
Dress code
It is an expectation you will wear smart casual work attire with closed in toe/heel shoes. You will need to wear your university ID badge at all times.
Suggested preparation for clinical placements
You will be contacted by your student coordinator prior to placement with orientation, safety training and documents that need to be completed prior to commencing placement.
