I have been working in the fitness industry for over 20 years, and although my role here at Healthwise Fitness is mainly administrative, I love transforming minds and bodies! Helping people change their mindsets and habits long term, as well as helping people overcome injuries is what keeps me in this industry! I love it! Aiming to instruct perfect execution of movement is key for me.

I am a Strength and Conditioning Coach. My style of training specifically focuses on mastering body weight exercises, utilising a variety of training modes to develop strength. Challenging the body this way places greater demands on co-ordination, proprioception, balance and flexibility. I like to help people to reach their goals by showing them the fun side to exercise, and being creative with their programs and my classes. I believe exercise doesn’t have to be a chore and I like the challenge of helping you to enjoy it and feel great about yourself!

I have always been passionate about sports, health and wellness. As we grow older, overall health, long balanced muscles, strength from our centres, and control of our bodies, were what drove me to study the fundamentals of Pilates.
I believe Pilates is for everyone, as it has given me a strong understanding of how the body moves, functions and it heightens my coordination, balance my strength and sharpen my focus.
My interest in passing on the experience I had so benefitted on led me to pursue my Diploma in Clinical Pilates, which would allow me to work in more depth with injuries and rehabilitation. I thrive on assisting clients to build their core strength, coordination and body awareness. It’s not only benefitting your body physically but also your mental wellbeing.

Etaize became interested in Mat Pilates over 9 years ago after she suffered her own injury and started attending Mat Pilates. It was an excellent tool in her recovery which lead her to further study in Reformer Pilates.
Etaize’s classes are energetic and diverse and she is able to adapt her sessions to all levels of participants.
Pearl has been teaching yoga for over 4 years and also is a certified Mat Pilates and Reformer Pilates Instructor.
Pearl brings a wealth of experience from her yoga training and teaching to her Pilates classes at Healthwise. Her knowledge with anatomy and alignment enables her to teach her participants to work out safely and effectively.
Her classes will focus on improving whole body strength and tone.
