Join the Emergency Department at the Victorian Heart Hospital

Applications for roles in the Victorian Heart Hospital’s Emergency Department (ED) are closing shortly, so if you’re considering refreshing your career in emergency medicine or nursing in the new year, now is the time to apply. 

The brand new 20-bed ED will be the first in Australia to have embedded cardiology services with an integrated model of care, and will also provide state-of-the-art technology, including Point of Care Ultrasounds (POCUS) such as bedside Echocardiograms.

“They will all bring different ideas, skills and passions and I’m excited to think about what they will create in this new ED.”

Emergency Nurse Manager, Adam Damianopoulos.Our Emergency Nurse Manager, Adam Damianopoulos is one of the team joining us from overseas, making the move back to Australia from the UK for the role.  

“The desire to provide high-quality emergency care to patients presenting to emergency services is why I applied to the VHH – it’s a state-of-the-art facility and an Australian first, and I wanted to be a part of its story and the services it provides,” he said.
