We’re now recruiting a range of exceptional, career-defining nursing roles

The Victorian Heart Hospital will provide world-leading cardiac care when it opens in 2023, and we need experienced, specialist nurses to join our dedicated team and be a part of history.

In our state-of-the-art cardiac facility, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team that will be responsible for delivering an innovative, patient-centred model of care that will make a real difference to our community.

We’ll be providing a comprehensive range of unique cardiac services in cutting-edge facilities, with some roles available for an immediate start.

There are opportunities available across the following areas:

Cardiac Care Unit

Our acute cardiovascular service will provide a universal model of patient care across the entire length of stay.

Ambulatory

Patients will experience an efficient, streamlined and integrated approach to care from our expert, multidisciplinary team.

Cath Lab

We will continue to pioneer advanced cardiac catheterisation procedures, bringing research from the benchtop to the bedside, to deliver exceptional care and outstanding outcomes.

Day Unit

Our day bed wards will facilitate the admission of both cardiac surgery and cardiology pre-procedural patients, providing support to patients who require advanced cardiac care.

Emergency

The first dedicated cardiac emergency service in Australia, including a 22-bed capacity.

Imaging

Our advanced cardiac imaging services include x-ray, OPG, cardiac CT, CMRI and ultrasound.

Intensive Care

Australia’s first cardiac ICU with cardiothoracic care and a nurse-led ECMO service.

Theatre

The Victorian Heart Hospital will house 3 purpose-built cardiac theatres, catering for a large range of cardiac surgeries.
