Speech Pathology

Speech Pathologists are currently employed across all five hospital sites within Monash Health.

Bed based paediatric services provide outpatient therapy for children with feeding, cleft lip/palate and developmental disorders and assessment/advice as part of the multidisciplinary team at outpatient clinics including the developmental disorders and cleft lip/palate and cranio-facial anomolies clinics at Monash Medical Centre Clayton. Bed based adult services provide outpatient services for a range of communication and swallowing disorders and assessment/advice as part of the multidisciplinary team at outpatient clinics including Monash Swallowing Disorders and Head and Neck clinics at Moorabbin.

  • Address referrals to Speech Pathology at the relevant campus; Monash Medical Centre, Clayton, Casey Hospital or Moorabbin Hospital.
  • The patient will be seen by a clinician within the relevant specialty.
  • The referral should indicate that it is valid for an indefinite period.
