The Ophthalmology Department at Monash Health provides acute and time-limited ophthalmology services for both children and adults with acute and complex eye problems both medical and surgical.
- Address the referral to the Head of Unit: Dr Christine Chen
- The referral MUST be accompanied by visual acuity where possible and meet the Monash Health Ophthalmology Department tertiary referral guidelines to be accepted for triaging
- The referral should include a valid provider number and indicate that it is valid for an indefinite period
- The patient will be seen by a clinician within this specialty.
