Cardiothoracic Surgery

The Cardiothoracic Unit at Monash Health provides services for both children and adults including pregnant women with respiratory problems, those patients with previous cardiac surgery (excluding suspected lung cancer and sleep related problems) and patients with complex cardiac surgical problems who have co-morbidities.

Referrals

Address referral to the Head of Unit: Prof. Julian Smith
The patient will be seen by a clinician within this specialty
The referral should indicate that it is valid for an indefinite period.
