Getting to Monash Medical Centre

Information about getting to and from Monash Medical Centre, Clayton.

Important information

Monash Medical Centre currently has reduced public parking capacity due to construction works. Our multi-storey public car park is still open, however, some parking spaces are unavailable. Please use drop-off zones or public transport if possible.

Public Transport

The closest railway station is Clayton station which is on the Dandenong/Pakenham line. The hospital is a five minute walk from the station along Clayton Road.

Bus routes 631, 733 and the 703 “Smartbus” service stop on Clayton Road immediately outside Monash Medical Centre.

Parking

Paid car parking for Visitors and Patients is available in our multi-level public car park located to the left as you enter the Monash Medical Centre site from Clayton Road. The Visitor car park is open 24 hours 7 days a week. Click here for current parking fees.

Concession parking tickets are available on presentation of a valid pension or health care card to Hospital Reception between 8.00am and 8.00pm.

Our public car park has a vehicle clearance height of 2.2 metres.

Parking for the Mobility Impaired is available in the public car park.

Designated car parking spaces for persons with a disability are located on Level 1 (Ground Floor) of the public car park.

Patient Drop off and Pick up is available at the main entry to Monash Medical Centre. Parking is not permitted in this area and vehicles must be attended at all times.

Street parking is restricted in surrounding streets, check the parking signs for details.

Taxis

A telephone is available at the hospital entry and within the Emergency Department to call 13CABS, free of charge, to book a taxi to collect you from Monash Medical Centre.
