Applying for the 2027 Monash Health Graduate Program

Applications for our 2027 Graduate Programs open 10am Monday, 1 June and close 5pm Wednesday, 1 July 2026 in line with the Graduate Nursing and Midwifery Program (GNMP) Post Graduate Medical Council of Victoria (PMCV) application dates.

To be considered for the 2027 Monash Health Graduate Program candidates must complete four steps:

Step 1: GNMP PMCV Registration

Register with the Graduate Nursing and Midwifery Program (GNMP) Post Graduate Medical Council of Victoria (PMCV) via https://gnmp.pmcv.com.au/
Ensure you rank your preferred Monash Health program(s).

Step 2: Complete the Digital Application Form

Complete and submit the 2027 Monash Health Graduate Program Digital Application Form.

Once submitted, select Print Response (the 3 dots – ellipsis) and save a copy of your application as a PDF to your device. This PDF must be uploaded as part of Step 3.

Step 3: Access Monash Health Careers Hub

Step 4: Submit Your Application

Submit your application via Careers Hub to Job Requisition ID 7879:
2027 Monash Health Graduate Program – All Programs

As part of your Careers Hub application, you must upload the following documents:

  • Your completed 2027 Monash Health Graduate Program Digital Application Form (PDF)
    (Upload to the “Resume” section)
  • A current academic transcript, including the grading key
    (Upload to the “Cover Letter” section)
  • A PDF copy of your Immunisation History Statement, including evidence of annual influenza vaccination

All candidates should review and follow the 2027 Monash Health Graduate Program Application Guidelines prior to submitting their application as applications may not be considered.

Clinical reference requirements

Candidates are required to follow PMCV referee guidelines available on the 2026-2027 Candidate Handbook on their website.

2027 Graduate Program job advertisement

The 2027 Graduate Program job advertisement will open 10am Monday 1 June and close 5pm Wednesday 1 July 2026.

Eligible candidates (See PMCV eligibility criteria) must rank each program they wish to be considered for via PMCV and submit one application to the job advertisement via Careers Hub when applications open 10am Monday 1 June.

Reminder: Internal employees are required to login with their Monash Health credentials to the Careers page via eHub to lodge their application.

Graduate Recruitment Process and Successful Offers 

Monash Health’s selection of graduate candidates is based on the assessment of:

  • Academic results
  • Monash Health Graduate Application Form and Short Answer Selection Criteria Question
  • Referee feedback
  • Interview outcomes

Interviews

Video interviews collected through PMCV from 10am Monday 6 July to 5pm Thursday 9 July 2026 will be utilised by Monash Health for 2027 Graduate Program recruitment. Monash Health does not conduct additional face to face or group interviews.

In subsequent recruitment rounds that do not use PMCV, candidates will receive video links directly from Monash Health.

Successful Candidates

Offers of employment will be released on Wednesday 16 September from 10am in line with PMCV timelines.

All offers of employment are made subject to the candidate successfully completing all requirements of their Nursing/Midwifery degree and being eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).

Monash Health will contact successful candidates for all programs by email to provide further information regarding onboarding.

Commencement requirements 

Offers of employment are subject to satisfactory completion of the following probity checks prior to commencement:

  • Submission of a valid ‘Employee’ Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Completion of a Fit2Work police check conducted within three months of the contract commencement date
  • Submission of proof of immunisation
  • Confirmed registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife prior to the program clinical commencement date
  • Evidence of a valid Visa allowing full working rights with no restrictions (if not an Australian citizen or permanent resident) prior to program clinical commencement date

Successful candidates who do not meet these requirements by the nominated date in the offer of employment may be withdrawn from the Graduate Program.
