About Monash Doctors Education
Monash Doctors Education (MDE) is a multi-disciplinary education team that leads medical education across Monash Health, with a strong focus on supporting the wellbeing and high-quality training for our doctors.
We deliver practical, evidence-informed education through a range of programs and innovative learning approaches tailored to the clinical workplace.
As an academic medical education unit, we also collaborate with Monash University and the University of Melbourne on research into clinical education, assessment design, and doctor wellbeing and support.
Education and training programs
We design and deliver practical, evidence-informed education to support learning in the workplace.
Our programs include:
- prevocational doctor training and support
- professional development for clinical supervisors
- workplace-based learning and assessment
- and education aligned to EPAs and programmatic assessment.
We use a range of innovative approaches to deliver education and training, including:
- interactive case-based tutorials
- digital tools such as video, podcast and eLearning modules
- interprofessional learning environments
- and procedural skills workshops.
