Monash Health Fertility is a new fertility service that provides management and treatment options for those who would like to grow their family but have been unable to become pregnant, or, who have medical conditions that reduce their fertility. 

 Access to Monash Health Fertility requires a GP or gynaecologist referral. Referrals will be accepted from 18 October 2022.

This service is run by a women’s health nurse and provides, pregnancy testing, Pap testing, teaching of breast health examination and screening information, unplanned pregnancy options and counselling.

The sexual relationship counselling clinic is staffed by medical practitioners, specialised in psychosexual medicine. The clinic can be accessed through the HealthLink portal under Gynaecology

Monash Health’s sexual and reproductive health services clinics are located at Dandenong and Cranbourne for females and males, with priority given to clients depending on need. Some services require referral from a GP – please check if unsure.

  • Emergency contraception available by appointment only
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Blood Borne Virus and Sexually Transmitted Infection
  • Breast Health – Information, examination and referral
  • Bowel Health – Information and referral
  • General health assessments – advice and referral
  • Cervical Screening Testing
  • Pregnancy options and counselling
  • Fertility and hormonal concerns
  • Pathology onsite

Eligibility

Priority is given to clients

  • who are:
    • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders
    • Youth
    • Refugees
    • Health Care, Concession and Pension Card holders
    • from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse groups
    • experiencing housing insecurity
  • who live work or study within the:
    • City of Greater Dandenong
    • City of Casey and
    • Cardinia Shire

  • Monday to Friday (9am – 5pm) excluding public holidays

    • Cranbourne Integrated Care Centre
    • 260 Lonsdale Street, Dandenong

Specialist Sexual and Reproductive Health Hubs are open 

  • Wednesday (1pm – 5pm)
    • 122 Thomas Street, Dandenong (no GP referral required)
  • Friday (1pm – 5pm)
    • Cranbourne Integrated Care Centre, Sladen Street, Cranbourne (Gynaecologist in attendance – GP referral required)
