Associate Professor Sanjeev D Chunilal

Associate Professor Sanjeev Chunilal is Director of Laboratory Haematology at Monash Health and has a major focus on the diagnosis and management of disorders of haemostasis and thrombosis. He has contributed to Australasian Guidelines for treatment of venous thrombosis in pregnant and non-pregnant patients, reversal of warfarin based anticoagulation and led the Monash Pathology diagnostic testing for the recent Vaccine associated thrombosis initiative during the COVID-19 vaccination programme. He has authored over 50 peer reviewed publications and is an active member of the Thrombosis and Haemostasis Society of Australia New Zealand (THANZ) and its clinical trials group.
