Associate Professor Pasquale Fedele
Associate Professor Pasquale Fedele is a clinical haematologist and haematopathologist at Monash Health, and adjunct Senior Lecturer at Monash University. He trained in Haematology at The Alfred Hospital and Monash Health, before completing a PhD at the Walter & Elisa Hall Institute of Medical Research on the role of key transcription factors in multiple myeloma.
Pasquale is the clinical lead for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) and is the principal investigator on multiple clinical trials in acute leukaemia, including phase-1 first in human studies. He is a member of the Australian Leukaemia and Lymphoma Group (ALLG), ALL working party and a member of the Children’s Oncology Group. He also has an ongoing translational research interest in myeloma genomics.
Pasquale leads the Monash Haematology Wellness and Survivorship Clinic, aiming to prevent, identify and manage late effects of cancer therapy. He also has a strong interest in improving the care of adolescent and young adult (AYA) patients with cancer and sits on the AYA State-wide Advisory Committee.
