Dr Susan Brown
Dr Susan Brown is the Deputy Director of Monash Haematology. She is a consultant Haematologist and general Physician with an interest in haematology consultancy medicine, and the investigation and management of non-malignant haematological conditions.
Her responsibilities within the Haematology unit include unit quality and safety, chairing the unit morbidity and mortality meeting and registrar support.
She is a member of the Victorian Committee for Haematology Advanced Training.
Within Monash Health Susan, has previously been the Deputy Program Director in the Medicine Program, with responsibility for chairing Sentinel Event Review Panels and development of recommendations to improve patient experience and safety.
She is a former chair of the Monash Health Senior Medical Staff Association, and a current member of the SMSA executive.
