Sarah is an emergency physician working with Monash Health in Casey Hospital and the quality unit.
She completed a fellowship in simulation with Monash Simulation in 2014 and has been passionate about using simulation to teach since. She had been Director of Emergency medical training at Casey Hospital for 5 years during which she developed the pre fellowship teaching program, was heavily involved in OSCE preparation as well as running instu simulations at Casey emergency. She is an examiner with Australasian college for emergency medicine and has completed a graduate certificate in health professional education. Her other passion is global health, and she has taught emergency medicine, rand the WHO basic emergency care course, as well as running other simulations in Uganda and completed her Master of Public Health and tropical medicine. She has recently been upskilling in trauma at Alfred Health and is working towards her masters of traumatology.
When she’s not working or studying you can find Sarah scuba diving, at a musical or hosting a board games night for her church youth group.
