Jessica Gill

Simulation Manager

Jess has a background in Critical Care Nursing, working across the acute and community health care sector for many years, predominantly in Emergency Nursing and Nursing Education.

Jess fell in love with Simulation when she participated in her first ‘Airway Crisis’ simulation in 2010. Since then, she has been a passionate advocate for simulation-based education, and the powerful learning experiences it can provide for a variety of learners across the health care sector.

Her passion for peer support and high quality, engaging education, inspired her to join the Monash Simulation team in 2019. Jess now spends the majority of her time as the Manager of Simulation, however, also maintains a clinical nursing role at Monash Health, and teaches undergraduate students at Monash University. She is an ALS2 instructor and holds post-graduate qualifications in both Clinical Simulation and Emergency Nursing.

When she is not at work, you will find Jess out in her garden, riding her horse, or on some sort of adventure with her family, exploring the great outdoors.
