Recently, the Department of Health and Human Services featured several of our people in a series of videos aimed at specific cultural groups in the Victorian community.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s essential that members of the community, no matter what language they speak, have access to up-to-date information and messages.
Thank you to everyone involved for helping to remind people to follow the advice, keeping themselves and their communities safe from COVID-19.

Tugba works in Dandenong Hospital’s Emergency Department and has never seen anything like the coronavirus pandemic.
She asks everyone to follow the advice of healthcare professionals, because it’s there to protect us.
Fissaha Gobena (Oromo)
Fissaha has worked as an associate nurse at Monash Health in the Intensive Care Unit for 15 years and has never seen anything like coronavirus.
Fissaha says he and his team of healthcare professionals are doing as much as they can, but without the involvement of the community cannot succeed.
