I have an NDIS plan – I need supports

Now that your plan has been approved you will receive your funding. You will also be able to access the myplace portal.

You can choose:

  • how your services are provided,
  • where you receive your supports and
  • who provides your supports and care.

Our Support Coordination team can help you find suitable providers for those from newborn to 65 years of age.

Managing my funds

Your ECEI Coordinator, LAC or NDIA planner will ask you how you would like to manage your NDIS funding and help you choose the best way to manage your funds. This will depend on your needs and circumstances.

There are three options to manage your NDIS funding

  • self-managed,
  • plan-managed and
  • NDIA-managed.

You can also use a combination of options. For example, you might choose to self-manage one part of your plan to start with and have the rest managed by the NDIA.

Managing my plan

Once your NDIS plan has been approved, you will be able to view it online at the NDIS myplace portal.

You need a myGov account to do this.

  • If you already have a myGov account, you can use it.
  • If you do not have a myGov account, you will need to create one at http://www.my.gov.au.
