Allied Health Day

Friday, 14 October, is Allied Health Day, a day where we recognise the significant contribution Allied Health Professionals and Assistants make in caring for our community.

Allied Health Day is an opportunity to celebrate the contributions of all our Allied Health teams at Monash Health.

Monash Health has over 1500 Allied Health employees across 23 disciplines, including physiotherapists, social workers, dietitians, occupational therapists and many more.

“Our team have an amazing can-do attitude that shines through in our work,” says Danielle Ryan, Chief Allied Health Officer.

“Today is an opportunity for all of us at Monash Health to celebrate the hard work our Allied Health teams do day-to-day.”

Our Allied Health teams work across our hospitals and in the community and are integral to what we do across the lifespan. We have Allied Health representation at all levels of the organisation, and at each level, Allied Health is an integral part of the collaborative team.

Today we want to thank all our Allied Health colleagues for the amazing work you do every day!
