Call for submissions from Allied Health Assistants ahead of AHA Day

Monash Health is calling for presentation submissions ahead of Allied Health Assistant Day, which will run for the fourth consecutive year in 2020. Registrations for the event are now open as well.

This year’s AHA Day – to be held on 11 November – will be the first time it has run as an online event, accessible from anywhere in Australia. We look forward to providing this up-and-coming workforce with continued, high quality and professional development opportunities.

The program includes consumer insights, poster presentations, AHA innovation presentations and keynote speakers on learnings from COVID-19. It also includes working with credentialing for AHAs, career pathways for AHAs in education, and building a culture of courage in these uncertain times.

Abstract Submissions

AHAs across Australia are encouraged to present at this year’s event. These presentations can be in one of two formats:

• Electronic poster display or Five minute online verbal presentation.
• Online presentations of 5 minutes duration, delivered via Webex.

We are looking for AHAs in their respective fields who have been a part of an innovation for AHA service or practice. We want to hear from AHAs who are doing outstanding things and who would like to share their experiences with other AHAs from across Australia.

As well as individual registration, this year there is the opportunity to register as a small group of up to three people or a larger group of up to ten if you are wanting to access the event from the one device/space.
