Masters of Advanced Clinical Nursing: Cardiac stream

Monash Health is the largest public health service in Victoria, employing over 22,000 people across a range of specialities.

We are excited to open a state-of-the-art first Victorian Heart Hospital, providing comprehensive specialised care to cardiac patients across the state. These patients are diverse and complex and require specialty care.

Our patient cohorts include:

• acute cardiac conditions
• interventional cardiology
• advanced heart failure
• mechanical assist devices
• valvular disease and
• cardiothoracic surgery
• ECMO

Course Synopsis

You will be supported by a highly skilled, dynamic education team that thrives on providing the most up-to-date, evidence-based care. With a culture of positive learning, our education team will support your development with clinical bedside support following our professional development framework designed to support and enhance skills in cardiac nursing and deliver high quality, safe patient care.
