Today at Monash Simulation, we partnered with My Emergency Doctor for the second time to assist them in delivering immersive education opportunities during the My Emergency Doctor annual conference. Monash Simulation presented a series of clinical scenarios that were managed by My Emergency Doctor participants in real time via telehealth with observers watching online, followed by debriefing provided by the My Emergency Doctor team and Monash Health Simulation Director, Dr Ian Summers.
We had the opportunity to write and present immersive scenarios including simulated paediatric and adult patients, and a hybrid cross-over scenario utilising both mannequin and a simulated patient. Using the key learning objectives from My Emergency Doctor, a collaborative preparation time led to a very productive afternoon for all participants and faculty involved.
Monash Simulation is proud to continue to foster the partnership with My Emergency Doctor to assist in providing immersive simulation educational opportunities to enable the My Emergency Doctor faculty to continue to deliver high quality telehealth through their platform. The unique ability of Monash Simulation to deliver a breadth of simulation scenarios specifically directed to meeting learning objectives is a primary component of the philosophy of Monash Simulation.
