When clinical documents or discharge summaries arrive late, patient care is impacted. This is why it is vitally important that your GP contact details are up to date.
Please check that the GP details you have provided to the NHSD are correct and up to date, including your:
- GP provider numbers
- GP clinic email address
- HealthLink EDI code for your clinic
Monash Health relies on information provided by HealthLink and the National Health Services Directory (NHSD). Having up-to-date information ensures that EMR electronic discharge summaries are sent electronically directly into your clinic’s software system. This means safer transfer of clinical information and less work for your team.
NHSD Data is automatically sent to the Monash Health IT systems, which assists us in making sure your details are automatically updated on an ongoing basis.
