Hosted by The Victorian Simulation Alliance and Northern Health the Victorian Translational Symposium was attended by faculty from Monash Simulation. It was a great opportunity for our staff to hear translational simulation success stories focused on how translational simulation can drive system improvement, enhance healthcare design, strengthen teams and improve staff engagement and patient outcomes. The team came away with many new ideas on how we can advance the translational simulation agenda at Monash Health with a focus on improving patient outcomes.
The poster presentation section of the day enabled Jess Gill, Simulation Manager to present the Translational Simulation work that Monash Simulation have been undertaking with colleagues from the Monash Health Stoke Team around improving door-to-needle time for patients presenting with Stroke at Monash Health.
