You have been screened for coronavirus (COVID-19)

What happens next

It may take a few days before you receive your test results. We appreciate your patience during this time.

You must now stay at home and self-quarantine while awaiting results:

  • Self-quarantine means you must stay in your home at all times.
  • You cannot leave your house for any reason unless it is an emergency, or you need medical help.
  • You cannot have visitors to your home.

If your result is negative

If your result is negative, you will receive a text message to advise you. You may then resume activities once your symptoms subside, unless:

If you have not received your results after 3 days

  • Email covidenquiries@monashhealth.org if you were tested at one of the following sites:
    • Casey walk-in
    • Clayton walk-in
    • Dandenong drive-through
    • Dandenong walk-in
  • Or, call 1300 134 111 if you were tested at one of the following sites:
    • Casey Fields drive-through
    • Pakenham drive-through

If your result is positive

If your result is positive, you will receive a phone call from the Department of Health and Human Services to advise you. Please contact your GP to advise them you have been tested for COVID-19 and your results were processed by:

  • Monash Health Pathology Lab if you were tested at one of the following sites:
    • Casey walk-in
    • Clayton walk-in
    • Dandenong drive-through
    • Dandenong walk-in
  • Australian Clinical Labs (ACL) Pathology if you were tested at one of the following sites:
    • Casey Fields drive-through
    • Pakenham drive-through
