Graduate Certificate of Emergency Nursing

Our Emergency Departments across the organisation are collectively responsible for over 165,000 patient presentations annually. Geographically we cover from Melbourne metropolitan through to the Mornington peninsula and the gateway to Gippsland. We offer a vast variety of patient presentations including, Cardiac, trauma, mental health, orthopaedics, neurology, plastics, Paediatric and complex patients requiring Intensive care, paediatric intensive care and neonatal intensive care. We also offer exceptional Women’s Health. We deliver high quality exceptional care from start of life to end of life. We are fast paced, dynamic and strive for excellence.

Course Synopsis

Partaking in post graduate studies is an exciting opportunity to build on your advanced practice knowledge and clinical decision-making skills to improve health service delivery in your area of specialisation. This program also affords the opportunity to develop your leadership skills, specifically around planning, implementing, coordinating and evaluating patient care.

Master of Advanced Clinical Nursing | Monash University

Master of Advanced Clinical Nursing (M6031) – Postgraduate Course – Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences. The Master of Advanced Clinical Nursing, offered by the School of Nursing and Midwifery, prepares nurses for leadership roles in a clinical specialisation.

Master of Advanced Nursing | Discover Deakin

(Only offered at Clayton, Dandenong and Casey campuses)

Commence your studies at the graduate certificate or graduate diploma level, choosing a nursing specialisation or tailoring the degree to suit your unique career goals. You can then choose to complete the masters – by coursework or with a minor thesis – to extend your leadership and management expertise.

Selection Criteria

  • Working in the resuscitation area of the emergency department
  • Internal applicants must have a letter of support from the Nurse Manager
