The Department of Neurosurgery at Monash Health is dedicated to treating patients with routine and complex neurosurgical disorders. We provide a comprehensive inpatients and outpatient services for patients with conditions affecting the brain, spine, and peripheral nerve disorders.

Our team of dedicated specialist neurosurgeons provide the full range of adult and paediatric services. We have established specialised clinics and services in:

  • Cerebrovascular disorders
  • Neuro-oncology
  • Neuro-endocrinology (Pituitary disorders)
  • Skull base tumours
  • Spinal disorders
  • Paediatric neurosurgery
  • Functional neurosurgery including treatment of complex movement disorders

Referrals

We accept referrals for this service.

Referrals are triaged depending on the clinical urgency. Emergency cases can present to the Emergency Service at Monash Clayton, Dandenong, or Casey Hospitals.
