Mr Matthew Harper, FRCS(urology), FRACS (urology),
Consultant Urological Surgeon and Deputy Director of Urology, Monash Health
Senior Lecturer, Monash University.
Matthew is certified as a Urological Specialist, both in the UK and Australia, having trained originally in London then moved to Melbourne in 2007. He has been a full time Urological Surgeon at Monash Health since 2010 and was recently appointed Deputy Director of Urology services across the whole of Monash Health.
In addition to his extensive administrative duties, Matthew operates and consults 4 days a week at Monash with a focus on major urological cancer procedures, as well as also kidney stones and most other benign conditions. He works closely alongside our highly experienced Urology Nurse Cystoscopists who run the award-winning Monash bladder cancer surveillance service and the new one stop haematuria service.
Matthew also holds a Senior Lecturer position at Monash University with responsibility for the many medical students that rotate through the unit.
