Dr. Amy Body BSc (Med) MBBS FRACP

Dr Amy Body is a Medical Oncologist specialising in gastrointestinal, genitourinary and breast cancers, with a special interest in early drug development through Phase I clinical trials. She completed medical school in 2012 through Monash University, with a concurrent Bachelor of Medical Science (by research) degree. She commenced her training at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, before moving to The Canberra Hospital for Basic Physician Training in 2015. She also commenced oncology training in Canberra. She completed her final year of oncology Advanced Training at Eastern Health in Melbourne in 2019, as a clinical research fellow, and joined Monash Health in 2020 as a Phase I clinical trials fellow.

 Amy currently divides her time between clinical work with Monash Health oncology patients, and research work. Her research interests include early phase clinical trials, and COVID-19 vaccination response for patients with cancer.
