Dr Evangeline Samuel obtained her medical degree from the Christian Medical College Vellore, India. She then moved to Melbourne to complete her basic physician training.
She subsequently commenced her medical oncology training and has worked at the Peter MacCallum centre, Alfred and Cabrini hospitals during her training. She also undertook a clinical fellowship in gynaecological oncology and Cancer of unknown primary under the supervision of A/Professor Linda Mileshkin at the Peter MacCallum cancer centre.
She has a keen interest in lung, GI, gynaecological oncology and Cancers of unknown primary. She is a member of the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), Australia New Zealand Gynaecological oncology group (ANZGOG) and Medical Oncology Group of Australia (MOGA).
