Gastroenterology COVID-19 Information

COVID-19 Information for our Gastroenterology Patients & Referrers

General Practitioners

During the current COVID-19 crisis, our hospital resources are being directed away from non-urgent care to create capacity for the predicted surge in severely sick patients. As a result, Monash Health Specialty Consulting will only be able to accept new referrals for patients with urgent conditions such as new cancers, time-critical diagnoses, or to prevent ED presentations.

In these extraordinary times, Monash Health Specialty Consulting (Outpatient Clinics) asks GPs NOT TO REFER NON-URGENT PATIENTS.

Further regularly updated information for Health Professionals can be found at the Monash Health COVID-19 webpage.
