Monash Health’s Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Clinical Informatics Council is looking for people with a lived experience of being an inpatient or patient of the Emergency Department at Monash Health to provide the consumer perspective in committee discussions and decisions.
The Monash Health EMR Clinical Informatics Council was established in order to make changes and improvements to the Monash Health EMR. This committee:
- Considers how information is incorporated into the EMR system
- Considers how information and the EMR system can be used to improve patient care
- Reviews EMR policies and procedures
- Reviews EMR documentation
Experience as an inpatient or Emergency Department patient (or carer of a patient) at a Monash Health location.
Knowledge of information systems (clinical or other).
This voluntary role requires you to attend monthly meetings at Monash Medical Centre, Clayton on Thursdays from 2pm to 3pm (currently being held online via Webex).
