Buddhist Flower Ceremony raises funds for Monash Children’s Hospital

Members of Monash Health Foundation joined in the beautiful cultural traditions of the Cambodian community last week – celebrating the annual Buddhist Flower Ceremony at Wat Buddharangsi.

As reported by 9News, hundreds of community members joined the festivities and generously raised funds for Monash Children’s Hospital.

‘We are so grateful to the Cambodian community for choosing to raise money to support Monash Children’s Hospital so our dedicated care teams can continue to enhance care for young patients and their families,’ said John De Rango, Director of Monash Health Foundation.

‘It was very special to be a part of the traditional ceremony and see the community come together so generously for a shared purpose.’

Thank you to philanthropist Richard Lim OAM JP and the Cambodian community, for your incredible generosity and for inviting us to be a part of this important cultural event.
