It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Monash Health!
Across our sites, garlands are hung, Christmas trees festooned and lights twinkling.
At Monash Children’s Hospital at Clayton, staff have outdone themselves with creative decorations inspired by various fun themes.
On Aviary ward, patients and families are magically transported to Disneyland, while on Reef they are taken on an underwater adventure with Nemo and friends.

Lagoon has become a thrilling Jurassic Park!
‘We have done some decals on the front door. We have dinosaur cut outs and inflatables,’ said Amanda, a Registered Nurse on Lagoon.
‘The kids are enjoying going around the ward finding all the different dinosaurs. We have more to come – watch out!’

On Forest, people enter the whimsical town of Whoville. Beware the Grinch!
While glitter-loving Trolls have taken over Canopy.
‘We chose the theme Trolls’ Christmas because it is a bit different, something out of the ordinary,’ said Kyra, a Registered Nurse on Canopy.
‘It is all sparkly and glittery, and colorful. Every kid that comes in recognises it and goes “Wow!”.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in decorating our sites.
You have truly brought the joy of the season to patients, their families and staff.
