Monash Health in the Media: Jimmy Rees and the Clown Doctors bring laughs to Monash Children’s Hospital

Comedian and children’s entertainer Jimmy Rees (also known as ‘Jimmy Giggle’) has been inducted as a Clown Doctor, after a special visit to Monash Children’s Hospital.

As reported by Nine News, Jimmy recently visited our patients and their families with the Clown Doctors program, bringing much laughter and joy to the wards.

The Clown Doctors are regular visitors to Monash Children’s Hospital providing the many benefits of laughter where it is needed most.

“The Clown Doctors are incredible people. In hospital, patients and their families are going through some of the hardest experiences they’ve ever had to go through, and they need a bit of respite, said Jimmy.

The visit marks this year’s Smile Month fundraising program, to support the Clown Doctors across Australia who bring so many smiles to those in hospital.

A big thank you to Jimmy and the Clown Doctors for the visit and all the laughs!
