Elemental Aerial Studio has successfully completed the Inclusion area of The Alternate Leisure Initiative. They are the first setting to complete the pilot project in the City of Casey, the City of Greater Dandenong and Cardinia Shire.
The Alternate Leisure Initiative is our brand-new research project. It helps local businesses strengthen health and wellbeing practices and create healthier environments. VicHealth has also provided additional funding, with eligible participating businesses receiving access to the incentive voucher program, which allows community members to visit alternate leisure settings for free or at a lower cost.
Tina, the Director of Elemental Aerial Studio, has implemented actions to ensure her studio is inclusive and accessible to all members of the community, including:
- Implementing a diversity and inclusion policy.
- Celebrating different cultures at the studio.
- And starting an inclusive children’s class.
We’re in the research project’s evaluation phase, with initial findings expected to be shared from July 2024. Congratulations to Elemental Aerial Studio on their achievements.
