Kim has worked in the field of Oncology since 1991 following the completion of her training (Bachelor Applied Science- Nursing) at Monash University. She did her Graduate year of Nursing in Palliative Care at Bethlehem Hospital in Caulfield and from there she moved into the Oncology inpatient setting at The Freemason’s Hospital in East Melbourne.
She joined Monash Health in 1996 where she began working in the Chemotherapy Day Unit as an Oncology Nurse and for a period of time, as the Acting Unit Manager.
In 1999 she joined the Medical Oncology Research Unit and has remained working here as a Clinical Research Nurse/Study Coordinator ever since. Although over the years she has worked on a variety of trials, her interests are predominantly in Gynaecological, Breast and Pancreatic cancers and she has memberships with a variety of Oncology and Clinical Research interest groups.
