The Gender clinic provides services for trans and gender diverse people. These include: assisting a client to explore their gender identity and providing information about the diversity of gender identities and expressions;

  • assessing whether a person is experiencing gender dysphoria and exploring various medical and social interventions which may assist in alleviating that dysphoria;
  • assessing suitability for hormonal and surgical treatments;
  • providing psychological support with issues that may emerge during transition.

We are available for trans and gender diverse people of 17 years of age or older, their family members, and partners, who are residents of the States of Victoria and Tasmania. We are also a resource for health care providers and community and advocacy groups.
