Are you worried about a relative or friend who is in hospital?

As a family member or carer, you may notice signs that the patient is getting worse that others may not notice, because:

  • You know the patient the best and you know how they are most of the time, you are the best person to notice  small changes or signs that the patient is getting worse.
  • You may be spending large amounts of time with the patient, which means you may notice a change in the patient when healthcare workers are not present.

Monash Health believes in partnering with patients, families and carers in delivery of health care.

If you are worried, there is a three-step process you can follow to raise your concerns. Click on the site specific flyers below for instructions.
