Medicine Year I and II
Monash Infectious Diseases physicians participate in Year I and II teaching.

Medicine Year III
Monash Infectious DIseases supervise Southern Clinical School Year III students as part of clinical rotations at Monash Medical Centre, Clayton. Students observe on our inpatient service and inpatient consultation ward rounds and at outpatient clinics. Year III students attend weekly Infectious DIseases tutorials (Thursday 1-2 pm). An Infectious DIseases Problem-Based Learning (PBL) series with active participation by  Year III student groups supervised by Monash Infectious DIseases physicians is coordinated by Dr Claire Dendle.

Medicine Year V
Monash Infectious DIseases supervise Year V selective students at Monash Medical Centre, Clayton, where they are attached to our inpatient service or our Inpatient consultation service for a 6 week period. Students actively participate in inpatient management and outpatient clinics supervised by Infectious Diseases physicians, registrars and junior medical officers.  Students attend and have an opportunity to present at our education meetings.

Medical Student Electives
Monash Infectious Diseases welcomes medical students from all over the world for elective attachments.
Please contact Monash University Southern Clinical Teaching Programs Office. Students observe on our inpatient service and inpatient consultation ward rounds and at outpatient clinics. Students attend and have an opportunity to present at our education meetings.

Bachelor of Medical Science
Research training opportunities in a range of basic, clinical and translational research areas are available supervised by Monash Infectious DIseases physicians.
